Going to an outdoor concert in Michigan and smelling weed in the air is pretty much the norm these days. However, just because recreational marijuana is legal in Michigan and so many are smoking at shows, it doesn’t necessarily mean that smoking in an outdoor public setting is legal.

Smoking weed during concerts has been happening for decades, but in recent years, it has significantly increased due to the legalization of recreational marijuana and its growing social acceptance.

It's wild how many people think that it's okay to smoke wherever you want just because marijuana is legal. Even though it's legal, there are still specific rules about where you can use it. It is illegal to use cannabis in any form in public including smoking, vaping, edibles, dabs, etc. This applies to both medical and recreational use.
