It was the kind of moment you only see in the movies. A boy, a girl, a ring, and lots of happy tears, but this story is more than just a proposal, it's a story of inspiration.

Grand Blanc golfer Kelsey Koch has spent her entire life chasing her dreams and achieving goals all the while inspiring people along the way and never using the word "can't".  Born without a tibia bone Koch had a leg amputation done at 11 months old. The 31-year-old wears a left prosthetic leg. For some, this would be a challenge, but for Koch, it's what makes her exactly who she is...a strong amazing woman.

Koch has taught yoga, coached golf, and commanded the course since she was a child. Recently she found herself teeing it up at one of her favorite courses, Pinehurst, competing in the U.S. Adaptive Open. She started playing with her father Jeff Koch serving as caddy, and eventually switched to her boyfriend Josh White joining her on the fairways. Always showing support, White has another reason to join Koch on the course this time.

As Koch finished up her final round on the 18th hole of the famous course she did a quick toss of the ball to White and turned to shake hands with her fellow golfers. As she turned back to White she found her boyfriend of 2 years down on one knee...ring in hand. What happened next was nothing less than the most romantic moment in golf.

"I won something that nobody else could", Kelsey told us. It’s so much bigger than golf itself. It’s not what you do on that golf course, it’s what you do off of that golf course. Love wins".
Koch has been open about the struggles she has faced along the way and the resilience and determination she has that lead her to success and happiness.

"Life ebbs and flows for everyone. Life can get better! Find your people, love hard, and always believe".

Congratulations to Kelsey and Josh, and thank you for showing the world that life is what you make it and that love truly is the greatest win.
