New Wicked Movie Version
Your Christmas Day has been upgraded in the most Ozian way!
Starting on December 25th, the film's sing-along will be available to theater kids and new fans!
Finally, those of you (like me) who had to suppress the powerful urge to belt "I'm Not That Girl," "Popular", "Loathing" or "Defying Gravity" can now belt our hearts away!
With roughly 1,000 North American theaters, the locations and showtimes have not been finalized yet!
However, they cannot skip over Michigan!
This will give us "Wicked" lovers time to get our "Wicked" fill since we have to wait a year to see the next installment.
The second part of the "Wicked" franchise will be released on November 21st, 2025, with Act 2 favorites like "For Good" and "No Good Deed."
With sing-along screenings like Hugh Jackman's "The Greatest Showman" and "Bohemian Rhapsody," I know the "Wicked" sing-along will be 10 times better and sell out quickly!
For those who have no idea what "Wicked" is about. Variety shared the perfect explanation.
"Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo star in “Wicked,” the big screen version of the long-running Broadway show about everything that happens before Dorothy lands in Oz and saunters down that iconic Yellow Brick Road. The story takes place before, during, and after “The Wizard of Oz” and charts the unlikely friendship of Elphaba (later known as the Wicked Witch of the West) and Glinda (eventually dubbed Glinda the Good), which is torn a part by external forces. The film’s ensemble includes Jonathan Bailey as love interest Fiyero, Michelle Yeoh as Shiz University headmaster Madame Morrible, Ethan Slater as Boq of Munchkinland, and Bowen Yang as Glinda’s comrade Pfannee."
