Lucky! Grand Rapids Man Wins 100K in Michigan Lottery!
Was he singing the Mary Chapin Carpenter song, "I feel lucky"? Maybe it was Frank Sinatra's "Luck Be A Lady Tonight". Did he rub a lucky rabbits foot? Perhaps he had a tarot card reading that turned up the 10 of pentacles? Whatever he did...it worked.
A Grand Rapids man won $100 Thousand! He says winning a $100,000 Fantasy 5 jackpot from the Michigan Lottery is “indescribable.”
According to a news release, Kenneth Bledsoe matched the Fantasy 5 numbers in the July 22 drawing to win the big prize. The Meijer store located at 700 West Norton Avenue in Muskegon was the location of luck. This is where Kenneth stepped up to the counter for his usual ritual of purchasing lottery tickets.
Bledsoe says he plays this game often. He typically selects his numbers but this time he didn't. He told Fox 17,
"When I got my ticket, I saw one of the easy pick lines had four of the five numbers I usually play, so I had a good feeling about it. The day after the drawing, I scanned my ticket on the Lottery app and saw I’d won. I couldn’t believe it. I ran downstairs as fast as I could to tell my fiancé. She thought something bad had happened by the look on my face, until I told her I’d won the Lottery!”
He plans to use his winnings for a trip to Europe.
