The three finalists to become the next chief of the Grand Rapids Police Department will participate in a community forum where they will meet with community members and answer questions.

The community forum will be held on Thursday, June 13, from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at Cesar E. Chavez Elementary School at 1205 Grandville Ave. SW in Grand Rapids.

The finalists are Lansing Police Chief Michael Yankowski, retired Pittsburgh Assistant Police Chief Larry Scirotto and Grand Rapids Deputy Police Chief Eric Payne. Learn more about the finalists.

All finalists will give brief remarks and then answer questions. Questions will come from those in attendance, those watching live on Facebook and people who submit questions in advance. Submit a question in advance here or use #grchiefsearch on social media.
