Michigan Cocaine Drug Kingpins Seeking Revenge on Thieves Get Caught in the Process

What sounds like something right out of a movie went down in Bay City, Michigan, where two drug kingpins were seeking revenge, and that lead to their capture.

Normally when you hear the words "Drug Kingpins" it's in a movie or a documentary but that is not the case today.

A couple of Drug Kingpins in Bay City were moving mass amounts of cocaine throughout the Great Lakes Bay Region. As much as 25 kilos every two weeks.

How Did the Kingpins Move the Drugs?

The drug dealers had special vehicles with compartments all through them to hide drugs and guns. The dealers used these vehicles to move the drugs from Mexico to the Great Lakes Bay Region to then later distribute. Then sold the cocaine by the kilo.

One of their vehicles that were carrying 15 kilos of cocaine was stolen and the drug kingpins believed they knew who did it and put out a hit on the thieves.

How Did the Kingpins Get Caught?

The drug kingpins broke one of their own biggest rules and that is to never talk business on the phone.

The two kingpins had set up a hit and did everything by phone and had no idea that federal agents were listening to their calls. Maybe it was because they had become comfortable with moving the drugs and getting away with it for a long time or maybe they just screwed up.

MLive reported that one of the bosses was heard by federal agents saying, "These things are dirty. Don't talk on them."

Federal agents intercepted the men on their way to carry out the hit and arrested them and their bosses.

Ricardo Delgado, 48; Gregory M. Hayes, 46, Austin A. Saucedo,20; Aristeo V. Delgado, 20; and Jonathan O. Coronado, 26 have been charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute cocaine and heroin.
