Michigan Is Not Rude – Ohio Is, Though
77,000 Americans were asked by YouGov.com which state was the rudest. They then ranked our republic in order of civility. Michigan did NOT make this rude list. But ya know who did? Ohio!

Only 9% of Rhode Island residents believe their state is polite. The East Coast had a few states rank high for rudeness, however southern charm and hospitality faired well. Florida was the exception for southern states. Midwesterners feel the region maintains its reputation for politeness, with the exception of Ohio.
