Michigan Man Kicked Out Of Movie For Sitting In Wrong Seat [Video]
A video of a man getting removed from a Michigan movie theater has gone viral.
The incident happened on Friday, March 25th at Emagine Theaters in Royal Oak
Why Did He Get Kicked Out Of The Movie?
The video starts off with a person working at the Emagine Theater telling the man he's not in the correct seat that he paid for and that he would have to move into the correct seat. After being informed he would have to move over one seat, the man became more upset and said "This is the last time I come to an Emagine Theater".
The man then went on to ask fellow moviegoers "Does it make any sense to make me move to another seat to watch the movie?" One person replied back to the man telling him "Go sit in your own seat"
Even after hearing other people than the movie theater employees tell him to move to the proper seat, he refused. Then the man in the video that works at the theater told him that if he wouldn't sit in his proper seat then they would have to ask him to leave.
The man still refused to get up and that's when another Emagine Theaters employee stepped in and told the man that they were done arguing and that since he was disturbing the show he would have to leave, but they would give him a refund. This guy was having none of it and replied by saying that he didn't know, he might just want to be taken out in handcuffs now.

I can understand the guy's point of it not being a big deal if he is sitting one seat over from his assigned seat. Now, if it was a sell-out, then of course he should have moved over immediately. The movie theater people were just doing their job but in this instance, I think it could have all been avoided if they had just let the guy sit there and never bugged him in the first place. I'm not justifying his temper tantrum, and if I was waiting for him to shut up I would have been upset, but I still think this was a little thing that got way bigger than it needed to be.
