Michigan Makes the Top 10 List of Most Bigfoot Sightings in the U.S.

When it comes to bigfoot sightings, Michigan is one of the hot spots in the United States.

According to the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization, Michigan is in the top 10 of the most bigfoot sightings in the country.

Michigan comes in strong with the 8th most bigfoot sightings in the U.S. Since the mid-90s there have been 225 "credible" bigfoot sightings in the state.

These Are The States With the Most Bigfoot Sightings:

1. Washington -708
2. California - 459
3. Florida - 337
4. Ohio - 318
5. Illinois - 302
6. Oregon - 257
7. Texas - 253
8. Michigan - 225
9. Missouri 166
10. Georgia - 139

The most recent sighting took place in Mackinac County where wood knocks were heard at night. Before that, in January of 2021, coyote hunters in Menominee saw an upright figure at night with glowing yellowish eyes.

I will be totally honest, I want to believe that Bigfoot is real. The idea that there's this giant, hairy ape-like creature living among us is something that has fascinated me since I was a little kid. But with no solid proof...it's nothing more than a legend. I mean sightings are cool and all but a sighting isn't proof.

In this day and age, if bigfoot was real, I think we'd have that solid proof by now. However, I really hope that I'm wrong.
