Here's the incredible swing from hot to cold. The village of L'Anse clocked a temperature of 90 degrees - one of the warmest temperatures in Michigan and record warmth for this region of Michigan this time of year.

Just 50 miles north in the Keweenaw Peninsula, the hamlet of Bete Grise saw a temperature of just 49 degrees, that's a 41 degree temperature swing in just under 50 miles. 48 by our count on Google Maps.
