It's located north of Onekama off of M-22 and just steps from Lake Michigan.

The name, obviously a play on Old Faithful out west is likely that the water shoots up like the geyser for which it's named. And for the unwary, it could certaily mean a blast of water right to the face.

The local tourism bureau says:

This is a great spot to enjoy a quiet walk on the beach with your family (just steps away) and sip the always cool water at Old Facefull before continuing your journey. Be sure to fill up your water bottle! You don’t find water as pure as this in a store!
