For the past 5 years, Pleasant Hearts Pet Food Pantry in West Michigan has anything you might need to keep your pet happy and healthy. The pantry helps with vaccines, microchips and spay and neutering expenses.

Rachel Jensen told Fox 17,

"We started off with just food and some basic pet supplies, we offer food and supplies like leashes, harnesses, toys, things like that, to beds and flea and tick prevention, and all of that is free of charge to our clients."

In the past 6 months, Pleasant Hearts Pet Food Pantry began partnering with C-Snip so that all of their clients can have their pets spayed or neutered. Most all of the supplies offered are donation based. They are given either by cash or by drop-off either at the warehouse or in one of their drop-boxes around the city of Grand Rapids.

Jensen added,

"We’ll take anything gently used like dog beds, collars, leashes, all of that kind of stuff."

If you'd like to donate items or money, Pleasant Hearts Pet Food Pantry holds distributions on two Saturdays each month at their warehouse at 1539 Taylor Avenue North #5 in Grand Rapids, from 12-2 p.m.
