UPDATE: Body of Missing Ludington Man Found

UPDATE (7/20/21 10:40 a.m.): The Mason County Sheriff's office has announced that they have found the body of James Peter Gowan.

ORIGINAL STORY: The Mason County Sheriff's Office is asking for help finding 56-year-old James Peter Gowan of Ludington.

Gowan was last seen on foot the afternoon of Wednesday, July 14, 2021 in the area of Meisenheimer and Stiles in Riverton Township.

Searches in the area have not produced any leads. Police says searches will be ongoing throughout the week.

Anyone with information about James Gowan's whereabouts is asked to call Mason County Sheriff's Office or Central Dispatch at (231)-869-5858.
