Restaurant Week GR is your opportunity to “Taste the City” in delicious new ways! Over 60 local restaurants are offering special earth-to-table meals at an unbelievable price: $28 per person for a 3-course dinner –- or 2 dine for $28 at select locations. Some of the participating restaurants are serving lunch for just $14 person for a 2-course meal.

This is the FINAL WEEKEND to see this landmark exhibition featuring internationally renowned artist and activist, Ai Weiwei. “Ai Weiwei at Meijer Gardens: Natural, State” is his first show in the upper Midwest as well as the first of its kind for the artist at a botanic garden. Ai Weiwei has emerged as one of the definitive cultural voices for the 21st century.

GRandJazzFest presented by DTE Energy Foundation is West Michigan's only free, weekend-long jazz festival! The 6th annual GRandJazzFest will bring to the stage notable jazz performers as well as up-and-coming artists for diverse audiences. The event is family friendly.

Tribute on the Grand

This fundraising event will benefit Grand Rapids Whitewater. The musical lineup will include Saved by the 90’s (a 90’s cover band), Hotel California (an Eagles tribute band), Sweet Diezel Jenkens, and Bromoans (Ramones Tribute band) along with returning local act Wolfpack from Mars (a David Bowie tribute band). This event is free and all ages are welcome. There will also be family activities and, of course, beer! It is suggested that you bring chairs or blankets to sit on at the park.
