Soaring Eagle & Other Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe Casinos Reopen
The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe announced that they are ready to re-open their casinos throughout Michigan including Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort, The Slot Palace and Bingo Hall, and Saganing Eagles Landing Casino and Hotel, Monday, June 1st at 8 am.
As with other places that are opening right now, extra cleaning and sanitizing will continue to happen and not all facilities will be open at the casinos but will start to reopen at later dates. At Soaring Eagle Casino and Hotel - Aurora Buffet, Siniikaung, Isabellas, Water Lily will still be closed until a later date, well as, valet service, the spa and salon, the pool and hot tub area, poker games, concerts, and tour bus groups.
Both employees and guests will be required to wear a mask and the casino will provide one for you if you arrive without one. Smoking will not be permitted inside and infrared cameras will do temperature checks at the main guest and team member entrances.
The casinos will also be stepping up with a comprehensive health and sanitation plan which includes sanitizing gaming chips regularly and swapping out playing cards more often. They also have plexiglass partitions up in certain interactive areas, and markings on the floor to help people keep their social distance. They’ll also have every other slot machine open and gaming tables reconfigured for safety as well.
