Ask nearly anyone of their first impressions of Spring Break and it's sunshine and beaches and Florida.

But think about Spring Break in the farthest northern tip of Michigan and winter has a brutal chokehold on the region.

Video Shows Spring Break in the Keweenaw

The video is humorously titled 'Spring Break in the Keweenaw.'

As the public works crew clear the streets the video shows the snow is still falling.

Many who saw the video on Facebook were either anxious to enjoy a last blast of winter or were happy not to be around this Northern Michigan version of Spring Break:

At least we don't have to worry about a sunburn

The winter of 2024-25 has been particularly rough across Northern Michigan. Gaylord, in the Northern Lower Peninsula hit an all time record snowfall while brutal snowfalls of 3 feet or more hit areas in the eastern and central Upper Peninsula.
