Taco Tuesday: Going to Church with Righteous Cuisine
Since moving to West Michigan, I've made it my new goal in life to try every taco spot in the area. I've already chowed down at Stan's Tacos and Ponchos Taco's, but today's taco spot took a little bit of chasing down.
Righteous Taco is a beachside staple in Grand Haven. Their unique menu is always evolving to include new options, and their nachos are absolutely worth writing home for. But what about when snow is on the ground and you're not feeling the beach vibes? They're traveling all of West Michigan all winter long setting up to make sure you get your fix with their uniquely fun truck.
I recently had the pleasure of catching them set up outside of Farmhaus Cider, and no matter if you catch Righteous Cuisine at their stand alone location in Grand Haven or out and about throughout the year, their quality is unmatched at both locations.
I had their Pork Butt taco, and while the name may make you think twice, nothing stinks about this taco. It was full of flavor, and this presentation? I'm in love
And while this is all about the tacos, I have to admit: I'm equally obsessed with Righteous Cuisine's nachos.
Their toppings are always fresh, the chips are clearly house made, and the cheese is always just melted enough to make you want to dip your finger in the bottom of the container after you're finished for just one more taste.
My partner had to try the smoked chicken taco, and there was no disappointment to be found.
Bonus: if you happen to stop by their stand alone location, they also have pup tacos, so your dog can enjoy a taco that's safe for them, too!
One of the best things about Righteous Cuisine is the fact they're always finding their way to where you are. So if you see their truck, or catch yourself by the beach this summer in Grand Haven, stop by and see them and enjoy a taco Tuesday any day of the week.
