After numerous work sessions to address safety concerns the Grand Haven City Council voted on Tuesday night to welcome back the U.S. Coast Guard Festival for 2021 from July 30th to August 8th.

The annual Grand Haven Coast Guard Festival, which was slated to take place July 24 - August 2, 2020 has officially been canceled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The U.S. Coast Guard Festival continues in Grand Haven. Around Grand Rapids we have Hidden Gardens, a Back to School Bash, the Picnic Pops, Harry Potter Movie Night, Comedy, a Superhero themed 5K Run, Dinosaurs, a Musical with Elvis songs, and Free Pinball.

It's the first weekend of August and we have no shortage of events. We have festivals and pageants, food trucks, concerts, magic, movies, insane inflatables, and bung hammers...just to name a few!

It’s another weekend of summer Fairs and Festivals. There are also Concerts and Comedy, Plays and Movies, and Superheroes and Sales!

The festivals continue around West Michigan this weekend. We also have concerts, sports, extreme sports, and free root beer floats! There are plenty of activities for all ages. No matter where you are in West Michigan there is something to do!
