There was a time when people would make the drive to Rockford, Michigan to have a meal at Rosie's Diner. Those days are long gone. It's sad to see how over the years this destination has gone from a favorite -- to scrap metal.

In the past, Grand Rapids had several unique restaurants. Great places like Tootsie Van Kelly's, Roaring 20's Pizza, Rosie's Diner, Kahunaville, or Village Inn Pizza.

The former Rosie's Diner, and two other dining cars, are for sale with hopes of them finding a new owner and them being moved to a new location.

The iconic Rosie's Diner in Rockford, which closed last fall under fall pretenses, is up on the auction block. The diner, which was used for Bounty paper towel TV commercials in the 70's starring Nancy Walker as Rosie was sold and moved to West Michigan from New Jersey in 1991. Now you can own the local landmark!
