It's the final weekend of August. This weekend features many festivals, fairs, music, classic cars, dance, beer, baseball, and even a chance for you to get naked.
West Michigan Whitecaps Baseball
The West Michigan Whitecaps are playing at LMCU Ballpark again this weekend. They will be taking on the South Bend Cubs. On Thursday it will be Rivalry Night. Friday Night will be the Marvel's Defenders of the Diamond Night. There will be Family Fair Fireworks following the game on Saturday. 28th Street Metro Cruise
Friday, August 26-Saturday, August 27, 2022 - Rogers Plaza in Wyoming, MI and Woodland Mall in Kentwood, MI
"Where the cars are the stars!” It is 13 miles of cool cars along 28th Street. The "Main Event" sites of Metro Cruise at Rogers Plaza in Wyoming and Woodland Mall in Kentwood, will feature 28 food trucks and concessionaires, 12 live bands, free shuttle service, Miss Metro Cruise Finale show, kid's events and activities, safety demonstrations including simulators, Metro-Merch official merchandise, a Dyno car testing platform, Community Awards Ceremony, 35 sponsor booths with giveaways and games, and more. Summer Dance Festival
Friday, August 26-Saturday, August 27, 2022 - Peter Martin Wege Theatre, Grand Rapids, MI
The Grand Rapids Ballet celebrates 50 years of lifting the human spirit through the art of dance. They are hosting a free, outdoor Summer Dance Festival. Grand Rapids Ballet welcomes West Michigan to enjoy two evenings of world-class dance, tasty food, and beer tents all under the evening skies outside of the Peter Martin Wege Theatre. Polish Heritage Festival

Burning Foot Beer Festival

The beach will ignite for the 7th Annual Burning Foot Beer Festival.
