Detroit Tigers legend Al Kaline has passed away at the age of 85. His cause of death has not been announced.

The Detroit Free Press reports that Kaline passed away Monday, April 6, 2020 afternoon at his home in Bloomfield Hills.

Kaline is survived by his wife, Madge Louise Hamilton, and his children Mark and Mike.

Known as "Mr. Tiger, Kaline spent twenty-two seasons with the Tigers, most of them in right field. Kaline was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1980. 

During his career, he won ten Gold Gloves Awards and played in fifteen All-Star Games.
