You've heard it talked about non-stop for months (if not years, it seems).

Today is the deadline for all Americans to enroll in what many (if not most) refer to as "Obamacare".

If you do not have health insurance through your employer or your own private insurance, you must enroll in the government-run healthcare program by 11:59 p.m. EST on Monday, March 31, 2014.

In Michigan, there are five different plans that residents can choose from, ranging from platinum to catastrophic.

There are three ways to sign up:

  • Online. You can sign up at HealthCare.gov . You can also sign up in Spanish at CuidadoDeSalud.gov.
  • On the Phone. You can call 1-800-318-2596, any time, any hour, and a trained representative will help you enroll.
  • In Person. You can also find a person in your community to help you at localhelp.healthcare.gov.
