Get ready, U2 fans. After initially being disappointed when a Detroit date didn't appear on the Joshua Tree tour stops, one has been added. U2 will play Detroit's Ford Field on Sunday, September 3.

In celebration of the 30th anniversary of their Joshua Tree album, U2 is touring the globe, playing the album in full on every stop.

The stop in Detroit has some significance when it comes to the band and the album. In a release about the new dates added to the tour, the band spoke of the significance:

Detroit - the city where the band first played a headline stadium show back on April 30th, 1987 at the Silverdome.

Tickets for the show will start at just $35, and go on sale on Monday, June 12. General admission floor seats will be $70. There will be a 6 ticket limit.
