Don't let an inability to get to the polls prevent you from getting to the polls.

Uber has joined forces with Google on an app that will let citizens find where to vote and then request a ride to their polling location so they can cast their vote.

Uber explained, "Given the important decision people around the country will make on November 8th, we wanted to make getting to and from your polling place easier than ever."

It should be noted the ride will cost the regular price -- passengers will not receive any special rate because it's Election Day, although new users will get $20 off.

Lyft will also provide rides to the polls for the public, although it should be noted it's teamed up with an outfit called My Ride to Vote, which is a super PAC aimed at keeping Donald Trump from winning the presidency.
