The former McGhee's Bar and Grill in Union City is for sale. And you can snag this location at what sounds like a very reasonable price, $29,995.

The bar was once the Pioneer but was renamed after then-owner Randy McGhee who passed away in 2018. His obituary describes his love for the bar and taking care of and cooking for the patrons.

He had worked at Dare Products for about 10 years before he purchased the Pioneer Bar in Union City. In 2012, Randy moved to Union City and renamed the bar “McGhee’s.”

He was an excellent cook and people drove from all around to eat at McGhee’s. He leaves behind many dear friends that he met at his bar.

If you want to carry on the legacy of a great neighborhood bar, the listing includes not only the real estate but all equipment and furniture in the location. It's a 2000 square foot space right on Broadway, the main drag through the village just a block north of the St Joe River. The listing agent says,

Great Opportunity in Union City Downtown former Restaurant/Bar (No Liquor License Included) 2000 Sq/Ft Building with Apartment on 2nd Story. No Land Contracts Cash Offers only.
