Visitors Write Their Hero’s Name on ArtPrize Entry [Photos]
Pamela Alderman's "Hometown Hero" honors the memory of Army Spc. Eric T. Burri. Burri was 21 years old when he gave his life in 2005 while serving in Bagdad.
Visitors to the ArtPrize Seven entry are invited to interact by writing the name of their personal hero on the flag.
Hundreds of people have stopped to write on the flag. The photos give a closer look.
"Hometown Hero" made the Public Vote's final round in the Installation category. It is on display at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel through Sunday, October 11.
