Witches gathered at Michigan's Capitol building to protest against GOP Chairman Ron Weiser for calling Michigan Governor, Attorney General & Secretary of State "witches."

I guess everyone has a right to protest but I'm not sure protesting witches are really going to get a lot of public support, but they make for a hell of a photo op.

According to FOX 17, this all started a few weeks ago when Michigan GOP Chairman Ron Weiser sad on video that Governor Gretchen Whitmer, Attorney General Dana Nessel and Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson are "witches."

Now I don't care which party you are for, if you were elected to work for our government and you are calling people names, you're not doing your job. Name calling is for school kids and they shouldn't be doing it either.

I guess there are some alleged real witches in Michigan that have taken offense to Weiser's use of the term "witches" when referencing female members of the state's government.

Wearing witches hats and carrying brooms a small group of women showed in support of "witches from Michigan." These ladies were not happy with Weiser and his witches crack not to mention saying that Democratic leaders should be "burned at the stake." He even took said some Republicans should be assassinated for voting against former President Trump.

Weiser sounds like he needs a good ol' fashioned ass kicking. No real man or woman working to serve the public is doing their job if all they are doing is name calling. Weiser, shut up and get some work done or resign...its really that simple.

At least Michigan's A.G. Dana Nessel was a good sport about the whole thing took time to speak at the rally and said, "Hello. I am Dana Nessel, and I am not a witch." The crowd attending got a pretty good laugh out of that.

The University of Michigan Board of Regents are not pleased with Weiser's comments and have asked him to step down from his position on the board. Of course he said he will not. More than likely he will be voted out which is something his constituents will consider the next time he is up for election.
