ZZ Top and Weezer Form ‘Wee-Z Top’ on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’
Jimmy Kimmel started his month-long 'Mash Up Mondays' series in style last night, inviting Weezer to join ZZ Top for a performance as the mashed-up Wee-Z Top.
You can watch the groups' collaboration on ZZ Top's 'Sharp Dressed Man' at the 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' website if you have an account with an accepted cable provider; if not, you'll have to wait until next week, when clips from the Feb. 2 episode make their way to the all-access section of the site.
The Wee-Z Top number is scheduled to be followed by similarly surprising mash-ups every Monday this month. On Feb. 9, Morris Day joins up with Haim; on Feb. 16, Aloe Blacc will perform with Blackstreet. Kimmel's Feb. 23 performers are still being kept under wraps for now.
While we wait for Wee-Z Top's debut to hit YouTube, we can at least content ourselves with a few clips from ZZ Top's last appearance on 'Kimmel Live,' which took place in late January. Check out their performances of 'La Grange' and 'Tush' below.
